Colorful Colorado

A feeling of romance and beauty fills my heart as I gaze at the distant snow-capped Rocky Mountains.
Thoughts run deep, memories connect with new thoughts, forming wisdom.
Never a time of boredom.
Her name is Colorado because she has many colors.
A whole lot more colors than many others.
To see her is an amazing sight.
The fluttering of aspen leaves in the summer sun;
her autumn colors bright, glistening snow so white.
Pikes Peak, Estes Park, Royal Gorge days filled with fun.
Throughout the state you can feel it in the air.
From Denver to Durango, Grand Junction to Pueblo... the warmth and beauty
that no other place can compare.
Ponderosa pines, aspens, douglas firs, blue spruce with their abundant
beauty and use.
High in the Rockies where cold water springs flow, the columbine grows beside a small pool that nobody knows.
Her scenic beauty and wildlife abound like no other place has it.
The closest thing to heaven on this planet.
Bravo to her majestic beauty and deep warmth... colorful Colorado.
